This weekend Formula 1 will race for the second consecutive weekend on the circuit in Bahrain. However, it will be on the outer loop and it could provide the fastest lap in F1 history! 

11 turns, two DRS points and the potential for a sub one-minute lap! The drivers will complete 87 laps of the unique track in Bahrain which is sure to throw up some surprises. 

George Russell will have the chance to impress in a Mercedes and could well be competing for the victory. Valtteri Bottas will be wanting to make a statement with his teammate, Lewis Hamilton out of the race following his positive COVID-19 test. Max Verstappen will have plenty to say however, but will the Honda engine have enough power to live with the Mercedes? 

The midfield battle is heating up as well with McLaren now leading following Racing Point's double DNF last weekend. It could be an opportunity for Renault to impress whilst Ferrari are still in contention.
