The fact that the drivers still managed to make a huge mess of it is mainly due to the fact that this race does not count for the championship and no points at the finish line, but a lot of money can be earned for the winner. The drivers take even more risk than normal and this year led to no fewer than four major crashes. In the end, only one car finished without damage.
