Nyck de Vries' first Formula 1 weekend at AlphaTauri did not go smoothly, but in the end the Dutchman could be satisfied with the result. Take a look behind the scenes at Red Bull Racing's sister team to see how De Vries fared in Bahrain.

De Vries had a difficult Grand Prix weekend in Bahrain, but in the race the Dutchman managed to make up five places from the last row. He was therefore relatively satisfied with the result, which he called "encouraging". Nevertheless, points were still out of reach at the Bahrain International Circuit.

After making his GP debut in F1 in unexpected fashion at the Italian Grand Prix, the 28-year-old Dutchman made his first appearance on behalf of AlphaTauri in Bahrain.
