This weekend, Formula One drivers will be in action for the first time at the Formula One circuit in Miami. The street circuit is new on the F1 calendar and that is always an exciting time for teams and drivers. The question is what it looks like in real life and especially who likes this track. Teams already know a lot in advance.

Hamilton explains in the Petronas video that data is already made available to the teams months before the Grand Prix. Laser scans of the circuit are used to test the circuit in the simulator. Hamilton himself is not a big fan of the simulator, but Russell believes that it has helped him get to know the track better.
