So conversely you're saying that after two races Ferrari and Red Bulls advantage is down to their superior power units, only the engineers could come to that conclusion and not us. You could have the best power unit on the grid but it won't put you at the front just like it didn't for Williams in previous seasons.30-03-2022 19:49

I'm not sure if the honour of most outperformed team mate would go to Vandorme, there's been many of them including George Russell's team mate Laffitte. In some respects I do feel sorry for them as their confidence must get knocked to hell when they struggle to complete with a teammate that is so much faster, Hamilton didn't have a problem but some driver's need time to develop which they just don't get.04-12-2020 12:33

He's not ignoring the effect of the turbulence, he's saying that following another car closely reduces down force which will increase the load on the tyres, continue to follow a car closely and they'll overheat very quickly. Use tyres that don't overheat so quickly and it'll be easier to overtake.21-07-2019 00:38
