The first free practice was completed this morning, and now it's time for the second free practice for the Qatar Grand Prix at the Losail International Circuit. For Max Verstappen this weekend is again extremely important in the battle for the championship. The Dutchman can not afford any mistakes and will do everything possible to finish higher than rival Lewis Hamilton. Because this is a new track we can not yet predict whether it will be a Red Bull track or a Mercedes track.

Ferrari versus McLaren

Besides the battle for the first place there is also a fierce battle for the third place in the Constructors' Championship. For weeks now there has been only a few points difference between Ferrari and McLaren. After the summer break, it seemed like McLaren had made some great strides and would take the third place easily. The momentum of McLaren was not long-lasting because the last few races they have been performing less well. Ferrari on the other hand is much stronger and Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are fighting for a podium almost every race. This weekend will again be interesting to see how this battle develops.
