Mexico GP timetable: This is what time you need to switch on for the sessions

Just like in America, the Mexican Grand Prix will also mean staying up late for European viewers. Find out exactly what time you have to stay up for each session here.

The Formula One World Championship continues at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The circuit in Mexico has been a great venue for Max Verstappen over the years, but with three wins in five editions Mercedes is also doing well in Mexico City.

Staying up late for the Mexican GP

The weekend starts on Friday at 11:30hrs local time. In England it is six hours later and that means that the race weekend starts at 5:30pm with the first free practice. After FP1, the second free practice follows at 9pm. On Friday the third free practice is at 5pm and qualifying starts at 8pm.

The race will not start at the usual time, because a local start at 13:00 makes it a bit easier for the European viewer. The race will start at 7pm and will end two hours later at 9pm. Each session will be covered as usual by GPblog's live coverage of the weekend.
