Ferrari will make another engine change this weekend. Where Charles Leclerc had to start from the back of the grid during the Russian Grand Prix, this will be the case for Carlos Sainz in Turkey. The Spaniard is not worried though.

The driver of the Italian racing team felt very comfortable in the past two weeks. For a long time the Ferrari driver was looking for his right form, but in Russia he found it again. Sainz drove to third place and finished just behind Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.

"It was important because I expected to progress in the second half of the season," he explained in an interview with Speedweek.com. "The first three races after the summer break went well, but they were nothing special. Third place confirmed the improvement and gave me a good feeling for the remaining races."

Sainz is not worried about the grid penalty. "Actually it doesn't feel that bad. After all, going into a weekend with a new engine hopefully gives you a bit more power and the team can also push development, so I can't be too disappointed. Of course you have to pay a price and move to the back of the grid, but I've been excellent in recent years at getting to the front when I had to start at the very back."
