The race weekend at the Sochi circuit is just around the corner, but the crash between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton at Monza is still a hot topic of conversation. Ralf Schumacher is also one of them.

Fresh as a fiddle

Although Hamilton hastily tried to get out of the gravel when Verstappen already passed him, the Brit complained about pain in the neck after the race and said he didn't think it was stylish that the Dutchman didn't come to see how he was doing. Ralf Schumacher has his own thoughts on the matter: "I think Lewis overdramatized, given the fact that he flew back to New York the next day as fresh as a kitten," the German told Sport1.

But it doesn't end there. Michael Schumacher's brother also thinks the role played by Toto Wolff, Mercedes' team boss, is not always very classy. "Every time there is criticism, Toto Wolff immediately comes and says, 'That's not how you talk about a seven-time world champion,'" he said.

Superlatives change a person

Ralf Schumacher does stress once again that he thinks highly of Hamilton, who he thinks is "unbelievably" good, although one should not make the current world champion bigger than he is either: "He is also just a person and these superlatives change a person too. There is very little attention paid to his faults."
