Pierre Gasly will have been the most disappointed after Saturday's sprint race. The Frenchman seemed to be on his way to a good starting position for the Grand Prix, but due to a light touch, he lost his front wing and slid down the track. He also hit the wall and since the Frenchman was obliged to start from the back anyway Honda and AlphaTauri decided to introduce a completely new engine.

That will be his fourth engine of the season and so the Frenchman officially gets a grid penalty for that, although it won't bother him too much. The ES will even be replaced with a new specification, confirming the Frenchman's start from the pitlane, which is not in accordance with Parc Fermé regulations.

Another Honda driver from the pitlane

At Zandvoort, Sergio Perez received a grid penalty for a dramatic qualifying session and started from the pitlane, this time it's the turn of the Frenchman of AlphaTauri. This means that Gasly if he doesn't experience any serious crashes, will be able to finish the season without any grid penalties, as he now has a new engine to ride out the season.
