Sergio Perez will not start in the Belgian Grand Prix. The Mexican slid off the track at low speed and was unable to keep his car out of the tyre wall. Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner is disappointed but says nothing will change for Max Verstappen.

Balding Perez, but race remains the same for Verstappen

"Well, obviously he's disappointed not to take the start. It shows how tricky conditions are out there. Unfortunately, the car has got away from him which is a great shame. For Max, it doesn't really change anything for his approach," Horner revealed in an initial comment to Sky Sports F1.

"Pretty nasty conditions out there. I think it's one of those days where anything can happen. You could get A crazy set of circumstances. You try to react to what's going on at the time, try to read the rest as best you can and rely on the feedback from the driver. The weather seems set in," concluded the Brit.
