As Honda announced Max Verstappen will indeed drive with the engine he crashed with in the British Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing driver will test the engine in the first free practice.

"The crashed engine is in the back of the car," Kravitz said on Sky Sports. Some parts of the engine have been sealed by the FIA, to ensure that parts are not simply replaced. "They look at the engine with microscopes, and look into the parts of the engine without breaking the seals."

That examination revealed that the power unit remained intact. "They are as sure as they can be that the engine is fine. I've had this confirmed from Honda this morning, there are some bits that they don't know how they will react until Max Verstappen goes out on track and puts the engine under stress and loads whether the engine is still useable and okay."

After the Dutch Red Bull driver's first run at the Hungaroring, Kravitz immediately comes up with a second update: "It looks confidential," the British Medium's pit reporter has been told by his contact at the Japanese engine supplier.
