After an eventful race, Andretti driver Jake Dennis has won today's Formula E e-Prix of London. With his attack mode he was too fast for his fellow countryman and polesitter Alex Lynn, allowing him to cross the finish line unchallenged. Mercedes-driver Nyck de Vries executed a convincing strategy in England and took home P2.

The British front row of the grid, consisting of Alex Lynn and Jake Dennis, remained mostly intact after the opening stages in London. The battle for the win was mostly limited to these two drivers. A strategically used attack mode gave Dennis the lead halfway through the race. Lynn was able to repair this quickly, but eventually had to give way to a faster Jake Dennis. With a comfortable gap on the number two Dennis eventually took the victory in London.

De Vries convinces

Today's E-Prix also saw Dutchman Nyck de Vries extract the most out of his Mercedes-car. Being unable to convince during qualifying de Vries saw himself forced to start in the midfield during today's race. On the exceptional track, which is half indoors and half outdoors, de Vries put in a very convincing performance. With twenty minutes to go, the driver had already climbed from ninth to fourth place. With a daring move he subsequently took P3 from Sebastien Buemi, and in the final stages he took P2.
