Marko is finished with Wolff: 'He had no business being there'

Helmut Marko is not finished with Mercedes. The Red Bull Racing boss is particularly disappointed with Mercedes' attitude, and once again lashed out at his 'big friend' Toto Wolff at oe24.at.

It is clear by now that Marko is no fan of Mercedes. In recent years, the Austrian has often criticised the German team, but now that the teams are fighting for a world title, that battle only seems to have intensified.

Max Verstappen was tapped out of the race by Lewis Hamilton this weekend, but we shouldn't expect something similar from Max. ''He will do everything to win the world title, but we are certainly not aiming for revenge with such a stupid action. We are not lowering ourselves to that level,'' says the Austrian.

''That's how it goes at Mercedes though. Mr Wolff had nothing to do with the stewards. Austria's national coach, Franco Foda, doesn't go to the video referee to give his personal opinion either,'' Marko concludes, still seething.
