Helmut Marko couldn't hide a big smile after Red Bull Racing's fifth win in a row. Max Verstappen and Red Bull are well ahead in the standings, and that is without racing at full power.

The past five races have been won by Red Bull, and of the nine races run this season, Red Bull won a total of six. Marko couldn't have wished for a better start to the F1 season in 2021. He can't hide a smile when he proudly says that they have now scored 76 points in three races.

Mercedes comes up short

''The highlight of the last three races, is that the difference in this race was perhaps even more obvious than in the races before it. Max drove very confidently in the lead, even though we reduced the pace. We now go to Silverstone with a lot of confidence, because we don't have to be afraid of any circuit anymore. However, we know how strongly Mercedes is prepared for the next races," says Marko according to Sport1.de.

However, Marko reveals something that might hurt Mercedes even more than the five wins. "We never drove at full power, but Hamilton did at certain moments. They tried but still couldn't close the gap. That's a reassuring situation for us though," concludes the Austrian.
