The Red Bull Ring in Austria hosts its second consecutive race this week. Red Bull Racing are the heavy favourites to take the win again, but Christian Horner is also looking to see what the next Grand Prix weekend will bring.

"It's a power circuit. So many aspects of Silverstone are now flat out," Horner is already looking ahead to the British Grand Prix. The weekend will be special in several ways because for the first time in Formula 1 they will experiment with a sprint race.

Silverstone is a track on which Mercedes normally go well, but Red Bull Racing has shown in 2021 that they can compete at any track. "If we can find a balance with a smaller wing it will only help us in the battle with Mercedes who we expect to be strong next weekend."

Praise for Honda

At the French Grand Prix, engine supplier Honda introduced a new power unit. This seems to be working very well and so there are satisfied faces at the Austrian team. "Honda are doing a great job. We're lucky to have the amount of support. They have pulled forward next years engine into this year. They have worked hard in what will be their final year. It will be sad to see them leave the sport at the end of the year but we've still got six months where we've got to go for it," he states.
