The Styrian Grand Prix had a clear winner with Max Verstappen last weekend. Over the next three days the drivers will compete on the same circuit for the Austrian GP and the Dutchman is again the favourite. Verstappen's name was mentioned often during the press conference on Thursday.

Hamilton expresses his concerns

Lewis Hamilton is 18 points behind in the world championship after Verstappen's victory last weekend. He hopes to close the gap in the coming days, but the Englishman realises that Red Bull Racing is ahead in the development of the car. At the press conference, Hamilton, therefore, praised his competitor for the work they have done and is not giving up the fight for the time being.

Verstappen happy with Dutch fans

The organisation is allowing around 60.000 fans in each day, of which a lot are from the Netherlands. Therefore, the Red Bull Racing driver can look forward to a lot of support from his own country. The Dutchman said at the press conference that he was looking forward to the support of the Dutch fans, although he didn't dare to say whether he would win again.

Possible rain race in Austria

It seemed to rain last weekend in Austria, but the predictions did not come true. However, it still doesn't look like it will be dry in the coming days, so the teams will have to prepare for a rain race. It remains to be seen when the rain will hit the track.
