Verstappen reveals salient detail: 'Wolff and Marko don't like each other'

Max Verstappen is on top of the world championship in Formula 1, and of course that pleases father Jos. The former F1 driver is very happy with Max's performance, and also reveals tensions between Red Bull Racing and Mercedes.

It's finally a real battle for the world title in 2021. Red Bull Racing have finally done it. They've managed to build a car that's good enough to compete for the world title, and Verstappen is taking full advantage of that. His father is very proud.

''He has a much better package than in recent years. Before this, Mercedes was always much faster, but that is different this year. Max knows he is fighting for a championship, so he must not make any mistakes now. However, he knows what he is doing. He reads the race very well," said Verstappen to Sport1.de.

Where Jos and Max are calm, Toto Wolff and Helmut Marko are having a heated battle in the background. Jos knows why that is. ''Helmut and Toto don't like each other," Jos revealed in conversation with the German medium. Jos does not want to weigh too heavily on it though. ''That's also a bit part of the competition," concluded the Dutchman.
