The Azerbaijan Grand Prix was a spectacular sixth race in the Formula One season. The jury of F1's Power Rankings believes that Pierre Gasly has performed best this time.

Not only was Gasly's qualifying a good performance with a fourth-place, in the race he managed to finish on the podium after a nice battle with Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris.

The jury of the official Formula 1 website could also appreciate this and the Frenchman takes the first place with a score of 9.8. They do say that it was a difficult decision, because there were several drivers this week for whom there were strong arguments. Sebastian Vettel drove an excellent race from place eleven to second on the podium. He is therefore in second place with a score of 9.7.

Hamilton in tenth

Max Verstappen, who dropped out due to a puncture while driving in front, still achieves third place. "Yet he cannot be blamed for that. While Verstappen was again unlucky to have his last chance for pole position taken away in Q3 and he had driven brilliantly in the race, our judges gave the dropout a strong 9.3 for his efforts," reads the website.

Sergio Perez (9.2) and Charles Leclerc (8.5) complete the top five. Lewis Hamilton only finished in tenth place (6.8) this time due to his blunder at the restart. Verstappen still tops the scoreboard with an average of 9.0.
