Max Verstappen hopes to win the world title in 2021, but admits there is still a lot of work to be done to make it happen. Furthermore, Verstappen believes that despite Lewis Hamilton's experience, the Briton is not the most complete driver of the two.

Hamilton is not more complete

Verstappen gets a statement in front of him: he has the most talent, but Hamilton is the most complete driver. "I don't agree with that! But that's my opinion," Verstappen responded in conversation with Sky Italia. "He may have more experience, but that doesn't mean he's more complete."

Furthermore, Verstappen has no problems at all with the seven-time world champion. Nor is he jealous of the Mercedes driver's seven world titles: "I am very happy with who I am. I'm very lucky to be in F1 and living the life I'm living. And I'm not jealous of anyone."

Verstappen fully focused on 2021

After the hegemony of Hamilton and Mercedes, Verstappen seems to have a real chance of winning the world title for the first time in his time at Red Bull Racing. "I hope so," said Verstappen when asked if this is the year to take his first title. "But we still have to work a lot and better to really be in the fight. That's what we're committed to now."

"I hope 2021 is remembered as a good year. Of course I hope to finish ahead of everyone else, but I'm not the only one dreaming of this," said the Dutchman. Verstappen says he is mainly concerned with this season. "I know many are already working towards 2022, but we already have a good chance this year and we will have to give everything."
