Giedo van der Garde believes Red Bull Racing will have the upper hand in Spain. According to the former Formula 1 driver Red Bull will benefit from the warm weather and amount of grip at Circuit de Catalunya.

However, van der Garde admits that Red Bull will not be better all season. "At the last race Mercedes had the better car and in the Grands Prix before that Red Bull had the upper hand," he says in an interview with Now.nl. According to the Dutch analyst, Mercedes was fast in Portimao because it was cold and there was very little grip on the asphalt.
