They're not sitting still at Ferrari, as they did some testing in the SF71H at their home circuit in Fiorano this weekend. The 2018 car was brought out to put Charles Leclerc, Marcus Armstrong and Robert Shwartzman to work.

In the weekend before the Grand Prix of Imola Leclerc drove almost 400 kilometres, about 130 laps on the Italian track. Armstrong and Shwartzman had to make do with 200 kilometres each. Both men are Ferrari juniors, competing in Formula 2 this season for DAMS and Prema respectively.

Ferrari's start of 2021

Ferrari started this year reasonably well with sixth and eighth places for Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. The car is a lot more competitive than last year and next weekend in Italy the formation from Maranello hopes to make another step forward. The main challengers for the coveted third place in the Constructors' Championship seem to be McLaren and AlphaTauri.
