Positive images! Monaco street circuit under construction
Because of the coronavirus pandemic it has been quiet for a long time in the port of Monaco. The tax haven is a bit of a ghost town, especially outside the summer months, and when the Formula 1 doesn't come along either, it doesn't get any better.
Grandstands as big as other years
Fortunately, in two months time, after two years, we will be able to enjoy the F1 cars again through the cramped streets of the Principality. Whether there will be spectators there is of course not entirely certain at this time, but a plan is being worked on to allow half the capacity.
The good news is that the stands are already largely built and they are no smaller than other years. At the moment they are busy constructing the pit building. The scale of this project shows that the organisation has no intention of cancelling the event this time.
