F2 test in Bahrain: Lundgaard fastest for Viscaal, Samaia with most laps

The morning programme of the Formula 2 test in Bahrain is over. The second day of the winter test is for many drivers to gain a lot of mileage, but also fast times. Christian Lundgaard ends the morning at the top of the timesheet.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Formula 2 will be in action for the winter test in Bahrain. The rookie class is a few days ahead of Formula 1, which will test for three days starting Friday. F2 is already on its second day and after the morning programme, Lundgaard is on top, followed by Bent Viscaal.

Of course, the fastest times are not important at this moment. It is more about the data that can be collected, and for that, you need to make metres. With 50 laps, Guilherme Samaia of Charouz Racing System has done well. Alessio Deledda of HWA Racelab didn't get as far with only thirteen laps.
