In Red Bull's new Talking Bull podcast, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez sit down to talk about their hobbies, as well as first track experiences. Verstappen was very young at the time.

In the past year, drivers have mostly had to live in a bubble because of the coronavirus, so Verstappen says it was not the best year to find a new hobby. However, the Dutchman does have a list of things he likes to do. Some will please Red Bull more than others.

Booze and the Jet Ski

''Drinking Caipirinha,'' Perez still suggests as one of Max's hobbies, but the Dutchman is not a fan of the Brazilian cocktail. ''I've tried it, but I don't like it. I am more a man of the Gin Tonic. Then I really want to have the right amount of Gin and go looking for the best Tonic.''

''Furthermore, I like to simulate racing at home, but I also like to be on the water with the jet ski. That can be dangerous though with all the jumping.'' When Perez asks him if he has ever fallen, the answer speaks for itself. ''Yes, it has happened,'' the Red Bull driver says, laughing.

Verstappen's memory

Sergio has a three-and-a-half-year-old child and is considering bringing his child to a Grand Prix. The Mexican doubts whether his child will see anything at all, but then Max has good news. He still remembers parts of his first visits to a race.

''I saw my father testing at Jerez when I was eight months old, but my first memory is of his time at Arrows. I was three-and-a-half to four years old then. He sometimes had to test at airports and I saw that as a really big playground'', concludes Verstappen, who thus seems to have persuaded Perez to bring his child along too.
