Vasseur on the emotions of new season: "Like the first day back at school"

Alfa Romeo have launched their C41 challenger for 2021. Frederic Vasseur has assured fans the emotions are still the same as he compared the start of the new season to that of a first day back at school. 

Alfa Romeo have launched their C41 car which they hope will do the business and help them challenge further up the field in 2021. Last season was a frustrating one for the team as Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi finished 16th and 17th in the standings respectively. 

With a new season, it is a fresh slate for the team and Vasseur emphasized the emotions that go with a new year.

"This period of the season is always very exciting with a lot of emotions for sure because we’ve prepared the car for months now and we are close to being on track," Vasseur said in an interview provided by Alfa Romeo.

"We did the fire up last week and it’s a very exciting period with very high expectations for all the teams. All the teams expect to do a good job and to be in a good position at the first race. It is like the first day when you are back at school and the emotions are there."
