The twelfth driver for the 2021 Formula 2 season has been announced. Theo Pourchaire will be racing for ART, with whom he has already scored two victories in Formula 3 as a 17-year-old.

Theo Pourchaire was one of the most outstanding talents in Formula 3 in 2020. Not only because of his blonde hair, but also because of his performance on the track. In F3, he finished second in the championship, despite his incredibly young age. In the French and ADAC Formula 4 Championships, however, he had already shown what he was made of by winning two titles.

It is therefore no surprise that ART chooses to promote the Frenchman to Formula 2. At seventeen he is currently the youngest driver on the grid. Matteo Nannini who will race for HWA Racelab is also seventeen, but in 2021 he will be able to celebrate his coming of age sooner than Pourchaire.

With Pourchaire's arrival, the twelfth driver has already been announced for the new F2 season. This means that half of the field is filled, with exactly twelve other seats remaining.
