As in 2020, the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola will also be on the Formula One calendar in 2021. Good news for many, as both drivers and fans are generally enthusiastic about the circuit. This includes Jarno Trulli, who has driven many races there himself.

Both great and not so great memories of Imola

The former Formula One driver has not always had success at the circuit, but has fond memories of it. "The return of Imola means that one of the most iconic circuits in Italy is back on the calendar," Trulli told Il Resto del Carlino.

He continued: "It is a circuit that, despite many beautiful images, unfortunately also has less beautiful memories.

"It's a technical, demanding circuit. Although I enjoyed it very much, it never brought me luck. In my first Grand Prix in Imola, I couldn't even start because the Minardi's gearbox broke down on the practice lap. But the drivers love this circuit, precisely because it is challenging," said the Italian.
