Verstappen: "I have remained 99% the same since I became famous"

The life of Max Verstappen changed when he made the switch to Formula 1. It is a challenge to keep both feet on the ground, but the Dutchman himself thinks he hasn't changed because of his fame.

Fame hasn't changed Verstappen

In a YouTube video with Edwin Evers for sponsor G-Star RAW, Verstappen is asked whether he has changed because he got older or because he became famous.

Verstappen's answer to that question is: "I haven't changed." So has he remained the same since he was 16 years old? "You have to ask my friends that," says Verstappen. "I have remained the same 99 percent."

So what is the change in him? "By getting older and gaining experience," Verstappen answers. "But I really think I'm still the same person."
