Which drivers will do the Young Drivers Test in Abu Dhabi?

On Tuesday the traditional Young Drivers Test will be held. Most teams use young drivers to gain experience in a Formula 1 car, but this year there will also be some veterans among them.

Discussions on driver choice

In the run up to the Young Drivers Test there was a lot to do about which drivers were allowed to drive. For example, Fernando Alonso was given permission to test for Renault, but Ferrari's requests for Carlos Sainz and Aston Martin for Sebastian Vettel were rejected. 

Formula 1 debut for Nyck de Vries

One of the drivers who will be driving a Formula 1 car for the first time tomorrow is Nyck de Vries. The Dutchman became Formula 2 champion in 2019, but was unable to get a Formula 1 seat. Last season he drove in Formula E.
