Marko: "Clarity about Albon before Christmas"

The 2020 F1 season is over and now, but there are still some uncertainties for the 2021 season. Seats at Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri are still unconfirmed and according to Helmut Marko the announcement is near.

Marko tells Sky Sports Deutschland about the decision-making process. “We are now going to analyse all the data and decide before Christmas who will be Verstappen's teammate,” said the Red Bull advisor. He doesn't say much about the chances for the various drivers, but it seems to be between Alexander Albon and Sergio Perez.

Line-up for AlphaTauri announced on Wednesday

For the other Red Bull team, there is already a definite answer. "On Wednesday we will announce who will drive for AlphaTauri." Pierre Gasly already has a contract and Yuki Tsunoda is expected to replace Daniil Kvyat, who finished third in the Formula 2 Championship last season.
