Bottas: "Red Bull look competitive and George looks quick"

Valtteri Bottas seemed to have a lot of trouble on his push laps during the second free practice. He regularly ended up off the track and, therefore exceeding track limits, due to braking and steering errors. However, he himself had a good feeling.

Bottas himself had more problems in the first free practice session when he suffered damage to the floor of his car. As a result, he said he could not do much in that session. He is more positive about the second free practice.

In conversation with Sky Sports, he says after the session: "Practice 2 felt quite okay. I didn't get any laps on the board on the soft tyres. One half decent lap but that was deleted. Not really the best day, but at least the long run pace was consistent but on the medium tyres Red Bull looks quick."

"It's a really technical section (sector 2) with the bumps and everything and its definitely not the easiest section and it's easy to loose a tenth and in qualifying it can cost you a lot. Red Bull look competitive and George looks quick," said the Mercedes driver.
