Verstappen strikes back after Turkey with a dominant victory for Team Redline

Max Verstappen may have had a disappointing Turkish Grand Prix, but a few days later, together with Max Benecke, he won the first round of the VCO ProSIM Series.

The VCO ProSIM Series is an online championship on the simulation of iRacing, where Formula 3 cars are raced against each other. There are 44 teams and each team has two drivers. Of these, one is a sim driver and one is a real-world driver. The sim drivers were allowed to choose their teammate via a draft system.

That's how Verstappen ended up in the team of Benecke and together they compete for Team Redline. Verstappen and Benecke were very dominant on the Twin Ring of Motegi because, after a pole, the duo also whistled to victory. After the switch, Verstappen didn't have to do much, because Benecke had already pulled a big gap to the rest of the field.

Verstappen wins again

"Simply a beautiful race, isn't it? Max had already put the car in a great position for me, so only in the first lap, it was a matter of warming up the tyres, not making any mistakes and then driving the car home. Victory has been here for a while now. In June I won for the last time at Silverstone," Verstappen says after the race.

A dominant victory for Verstappen, even though many big names are taking part in the race. Rubens Barrichello, Romain Grosjean, Antonio Felix da Costa, Sergio Setta Camara, Daniel Juncadella, Louis Deletraz and Timo Glock also participated in this event.
