Tip from Verstappen for Albon: 'Talking doesn't work, just go flat out'

For the first time since his year in Formula 3, Max Verstappen arrived at the circuit of Imola. There is a lot of speculation about the future of his teammate. Does the Dutchman have any tips for Alexander Albon and who does he prefer to see for himself in the car next to him?

These are the questions he is asked in Formula 1 Café at Ziggo Sport. The Red Bull driver is very clear about any tips and whether he can help Albon. "Just step on the gas. That's the only thing you can do. You can talk a lot, but that doesn't work, you just have to hit the gas. That's the only solution."

Then there is a lot of speculation about a possible successor and who Verstappen prefers to have as a teammate. Nico Hulkenberg is often mentioned. Also by Verstappen himself.

"I get along well with all of them. With Nico, it's a bit more personal, of course, because he can speak Dutch and I think Nico did very well in the races he entered. But in the end, it's not up to me to make that decision, I leave that to the team".
