Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen will both be leaving Haas at the end of 2020. Guenther Steiner and his team will therefore be choosing a completely new driver duo for 2021, although Steiner would like to thank his current drivers for their services.

End of an era

Since 2017, Magnussen and Grosjean have been racing for Haas together. However, the pair will depart at the end of the current season. This marks the end of a four-year collaboration with Magnussen and a five-year collaboration with Grosjean.

"I would like to thank both Romain (Grosjean) and Kevin (Magnussen) for their hard work and commitment to the Haas F1 Team over the past seasons. Romain was a fundamental part of our company as we tried to get a driver on board with both speed and experience. His results in early 2016 were a just reward, not only for his own talent, but also for the tremendous effort the team put into the start of that season," Steiner said in Haas' press release.

The fifth place in 2018

"When Kevin joined a season later, we saw an immediate return with both cars scoring points, and of course, our first double points finish in Monaco that year. Together we have many good memories - especially of our 2018 season, when we only finished fifth in our third season.

"Romain and Kevin played an important role in that success. Of course, there is still plenty to race in the 2020 season. We appreciate their input and experience to continue the team to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December," concluded Haas' team boss.
