Ricciardo delighted with podium - And he's already planning Abiteboul's tattoo!

Daniel Ricciardo expressed his happiness at securing a first podium finish for over two years, and his first for Renault at the Eifel GP. The Australian is happy for the team and states that Cyril Abiteboul's tattoo is now only a matter of time.

"It has been a while! It feels like my first podium again. It's been two and a half years or so. The feeling is really nice. It's fresh," Ricciardo laughs in conversation with David Coulthard.

Renault had to wait a long time for a podium finish, but it finally arrived at the Nurburgring. "It's cool to see everyone like this. We have all waited a long time for this, so I think everyone is going to enjoy it."

Ricciardo makes Abiteboul keep his promise!

At the beginning of the year, Ricciardo made a bet with Abiteboul. If Ricciardo was to take a podium in 2020, the team boss would get a tattoo of Ricciardo's choice. "It is real. It's going to happen! We will have to think now. It will probably be something to do with me, but with a German flavour. This is where we did it," the Australian added.
