Ferrari looks ahead: ''A beautiful history, but also a beautiful future''

Ferrari did not have an easy time on their own Mugello circuit, but Ferrari knows where it is heading. 2022 is the goal, and no matter how bad the results are, the organisation within Ferrari is not going to change.

Where Ferrari used to make one team boss after the other disappear, it is striking that the administration is now so calm. Performance is worse than it has been for years, but Mattia Binotto is given time to put his project on the right footing. That is what John Elkann, President of Ferrari, is now letting us know.

''We are very happy and proud of everything we have done, but we are totally confident about the future. Ferrari is not only something of history, but we also have a wonderful future ahead of us," says Elkann to the Italian Corriere dello Sport.

''If you as a team have as long a history as we have, you know there are good times and bad times between them. Now we are in a difficult moment and that causes a lot of pain to people who love Ferrari, but it is important to start again and look ahead," the Ferrari boss concludes hopefully.
