Leclerc drives with a new chassis, 'but there's no fighting for victories'.

Charles Leclerc flew off the track at the Monza Grand Prix, after which his Ferrari was reasonably depreciated. For Mugello, the team has built a new car on a brand new chassis, Leclerc says in front of the Sky Sport F1 cameras. However, this new chassis will have little impact on performance, because it doesn't bring much improvement.

Giving everything we have

In Mugello Leclerc just drove his first laps during the first free practice. During the broadcast he spoke briefly about the current state of affairs, but there is still little really positive news. "We can't fight for victory yet, but it's important that we give everything we have this weekend.

The latter of course refers to the fact that this should have been a celebration for the Scuderia, as this is the 1000th Grand Prix in which they participate. However, the Ferrari that Leclerc and Vettel have to compete in is not strong enough and it will take some time.

With optimism ahead

For the time being, Leclerc is stuck at the Italian race stable and looks ahead with optimism. For example, he said that Ferrari has been in deep valleys before and that they have always conquered them. The goal is to come out of this situation stronger and they are now fully focused on all the difficult issues they are facing.

Conflicting as the young Monegask is, he concludes by saying that Ferrari wants to return to the top as soon as possible. And so it is, after all, Ferrari that doesn't fight for victories is a loss.
