After the race, Max Verstappen said something remarkable. He said the 2019 Red Bull wasn't so bad. The Dutchman is, of course, referring to the fact that Pierre Gasly won the race with AlphaTauri.

Rob Kamphues thinks this statement could become a problem for Red Bull Racing. Especially after the 'copy gate' of Racing Point, in which the team from Silverstone copied the brake ducts of Mercedes.

"Max is saying that this year's AlphaTauri is last year's, Red Bull. In other words, they have done a 'Racing Point'. That's what makes you thunder", said Kamphues at Crashen in de Keuken from Ziggo Sport. "At first, the team have been nagging that Racing Point copied last year's Mercedes, but they're doing it themselves."

Doornbos disagrees with Kamphues

"No, this is a subtle, politically correct way of saying you screwed up with the 2020 car", says Robert Doornbos. "He says the team did something fundamentally wrong with the design of the car. Basically, mistakes have already been made in that car that you're not going to fix this year."
