Hours after Williams announced that Claire Williams is not the team boss after Italy, Williams has announced what their new leadership will look like from the next Grand Prix. The team will be led by Matthew Savage, Darren Fultz and James Matthews.

Savage is the chairman of Dorilton Capital, the company that acquired Williams on 21 August. Savage set up the company in 2009, together with Fultz, among others, who will also be on the board of Williams. Matthews is the CEO of Eden Rock Group and he is also a former British racing driver. "They have a background in motorsport of more than 30 years.

Preserving Williams heritage

"The new Board recognises and appreciates the importance of preserving the heritage and culture of Williams and will continue to work together to exploit its capabilities to make it competitive again," concludes the team's statement.
