'Vettel will not announce anything about the future for the time being'

According to reports in Austria and Italy, Sebastian Vettel has already signed a contract with Aston Martin and could announce it at any time, but according to the German media, none of this is true.

At the end of 2020, Sebastian Vettel must leave Ferrari. The Italians choose Charles Leclerc as their leader, with Carlos Sainz at his side. Vettel seems to be on his way to Racing Point, which will be renamed Aston Martin next year. However, Felix Görner, journalist for the German RTL, says it is not true that there is already a contract.

''None of the reporting coming from Italy and Austria is correct. From what we understand, there is not yet an agreement that Vettel has signed. He has shown in Spain that he can drive a very slow Ferrari, but there is still nothing on paper'', says the journalist.

RTL is often good at reporting on Vettel and seems to have a short line with the Heppenheimer. ''Fans should be patient for a while, because according to our coverage you don't have to expect any news yet during the Belgian Grand Prix weekend'', concludes Görner.
