Sebastian Vettel and the management of Ferrari clearly live at odds. Vettel clearly expressed his dissatisfaction with the team and also Mattia Binotto did not hold back after the race. Can this situation still be repaired?

War at Ferrari

''This weekend Vettel was closer to Leclerc than last weekend, but a mistake in the first corner caused him to ending up last during the first lap. It is the umpteenth in the series of errors, which has cooled the relation between Ferrari and Vettel. Leclerc is the golden boy for the future and Carlos Sainz is coming in to replace Vettel," said Jolyon Palmer in his column for Formula1.com.

Where some still thought that Vettel would strike back, that is not the case. ''That's counterproductive. Vettel knows he won't be part of the team anymore and you notice the change within the team. They will be focussing on Leclerc and that will be annoying for Sebastian'', says Palmer. That Vettel is defending somewhat for his statements about the onboard radio.

No happy ending

"They both did badly. That spin certainly didn't help Vettel, but Ferrari's strategy was also bizarre. It only seemed to please Leclerc and not to help Vettel. He was brought in, while he was still fine on those tyres, but Ferrari didn't pay attention to that''.

''Vettel doesn't hold back his frustrations anymore either, while the other side of the garage is getting better and better. That only makes the situation worse. It seems clear to me that this collaboration will not have a happy ending'', concludes the former F1 driver.
