Before the Brtish Grand Prix, there will be another moment to reflect on the fight against racism. However, this did not happen by itself. Both Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel felt abandoned when they spoke up.

Vettel and Hamilton go into battle together

''Apparently, some people think we've done enough now, but that's the problem. We have to continue to get equal rights for all," says the six-time world champion according to Speedweek.com. The Brit found support from Sebastian Vettel and together they expressed their dissatisfaction.

''Sebastian and I have spoken through the app and we both realise how important this is. We have to get together with the leaders of Formula 1 because they have to do a better job," said Hamilton, supported by Vettel.

30 seconds against racism

"Drivers shouldn't be arranging this, but the FIA and Formula One. They make the planning. We try to give a signal, but after the first race, the FIA and Formula 1 have dropped us'", said the German.

The call of the two drivers did help because, before the national anthem, a moment of 30 seconds is planned for drivers to show how important equality is for everyone. Formula 1 has even worked out how this should be done: Get on your knee, arms folded, head bent, point to your shirt with 'no more racism' and with your hand on your heart or in which way this is pleasant. There is no obligation to do this, so this weekend there will be plenty of drivers standing again due to their own personal reasons.
