After an interesting race in Hungary there are several drivers who have fallen on during the Grand Prix. Some in a positive way, others in a negative way. Also this week Formula1.com looked at the performance of the drivers and based on the scores of five judges the power rankings will be made. Remarkable is that there is a driver of Haas in the top 3!

At the top, of course, is Lewis Hamilton. The Brit dominated the race and in the end he got the maximum ten points. In second place is Kevin Magnussen, who finished the race in tenth place. The driver of the American Haas stood out according to the judges because of his performance to drive his car to ninth place, after a strategic move by the team. He finished tenth by a penalty, but that doesn't matter for the standings.

Verstappen into third place

Max Verstappen is then in third place, with a score of 8.8. The driver of Red Bull Racing finally managed to drive to second place, but also drove his car into the wall on his way to the grid. The judges indicated that "if Verstappen hadn't hit the wall in turn twelve, 30 minutes before the race, he would have gotten a higher score".

Lance Stroll also scored an 8.8, which was the same as Verstappen. Behind Stroll are Daniel Ricciardo, Carlos Sainz, Sebastian Vettel, Pierre Gasly, Valtteri Bottas and George Russel. In the final championship Hamilton climbs up to first place, which he takes over from Lando Norris. Verstappen remains in second place, while Norris drops back to P3. Due to the good performance of Magnussen the Dane enters the top 10, at the expense of Alex Albon.
