The third Grand Prix weekend of 2020 has come to an end and that means we have a new position in the Formula 1 World Championship. Lewis Hamilton is the new leader in the World Championship after another victory in Hungary. Valtteri Bottas drops a place and one of the biggest climbers is Max Verstappen.

After a crash in outlap on Sunday afternoon, the Dutch driver seemed to be able to forget his chances of a world title, but after excellent work by the Red Bull mechanics and a faultless race, the 22-year old Dutchman managed to finish in a neat second place. The gap to leader Hamilton is about thirty points. Valtteri Bottas is second with 58 points.

Lando Norris finished outside the points at the Hungaroring, but with 26 points and a fourth place the McLaren rider manages to maintain himself in the top. Alexander Albon, however, is on his way. The British Thai rider was allowed to add ten points after the Hungarian GP.

The men of Ferrari are back in seventh and tenth place. There is work to be done for the Italian superpower. The same goes for Nicholas Latifi, Romain Grosjean, George Russell and Kimi Raikkonen. They are the only four drivers who haven't been in the top ten this year.
