Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon both didn't see the end of the Austrian Grand Prix. Albon was the closest to a victory, but after a clash with Lewis Hamilton the chance was gone before he finally retired his car.

"We haven't spoken since the race. It was just bad conditions and it's awkward that we hit each other twice in that situation. I don't think Lewis had the intention of hitting me," said Alexander Albon at the press conference according to F1 journalist Philip Duncan.

Verstappen saw the incident from the pitbox and admits that these kind of thing can happen. "Lewis never wanted to hit him, but things like this can happen. It was a good move by Alex, only he got off worse. Lewis ended up being fourth, but that's part of it'', says the Dutchman according to Speedweek.com.

Verstappen had to watch the spectacle from the pits from round eleven, after he had dropped out. ''We've made a step forward, but Mercedes may have done even better. We're faster in most corners, but the balance wasn't right yet," said the Red Bull Racing driver.
