The silly seasing for the 2021 drivers' market is currently in full swing. A number of important places have recently been taken, but there is still plenty left to speculate about. More than half of the seats have not yet been given and even drivers who have been confirmed can still change teams.

After the confirmation that Carlos Sainz will leave for Ferrari and Daniel Ricciardo will take his place at McLaren, those two teams will be one of the first where both drivers are known for 2021. The only other team where this was already the case is Racing Point/Aston Martin.

Then there are a number of places that are fairly easy to fill in. If no crazy things should happen, Alexander Albon will for example be allowed to stay next to Max Verstappen at Red Bull Racing. Furthermore it seems a certainty that Lewis Hamilton will extend his contract with Mercedes.

After that it will be a bit of a guess. Especially the second seat at Mercedes and Renault is very popular and there are several candidates for that. Sebastian Vettel, Valterri Bottas and Fernando Alonso are mentioned with both teams and then there is also the chance that George Russell will get promotion. In the overview below you can see how all the lines run.
