The Monaco Grand Prix may not be held today, but local hero Charles Leclerc saw an opportunity to get on the tarmac at speed. To promote the new Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the route of the circuit was closed off especially for him.

Leclerc stepped into the luxury car early in the morning in front of the Casino. He was accompanied by the necessary journalists, Ferrari president John Elkann and of course Prince Albert could not be missed.

The promotional video of Ferrari will be a remake of the famous C'etait un rendez vous. A short film from 1976 in which filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a camera on his Mercedes, tore through the streets of Paris and then pasted the engine sound of a Ferrari over it.

The SF90 Stradale is surprisingly quiet in that respect, so the sound comes mainly from the squeaking tyres. Nevertheless, Leclerc was able to put some of his colleagues' eyes out with his ride. Among others Valtteri Bottas was watching from behind the windows.
