In times of corona the drivers are at home but to hear from them now Red Bull Racing organized a video conversation with Max Verstappen, Alexander Albon and team boss Christian Horner. A number of fans asked questions to the three gentlemen.

The conversation between the drivers and the team boss is logically about everything because the questions are very different. Halfway through the conversation, Christian Horner would like to clarify how the Red Bull factory has helped to produce fans in the fight against corona.

"Initially we offered our factory to the team fighting the corona fight (NHS) because we have the facilities and the knowledge. We were asked whether we could convert a simple fan into a fan that could be used as a respirator. Within two weeks a lot of volunteers redesigned the ventilator and made it workable. This normally takes 2.5 years. That's the power of Formula 1."

Verstappen is also impressed: "It's great that so many people want to help. The whole society wants to contribute and it's great to see that a racing team can contribute to society in this way". In the end, the demand for fans decreased because the number of infections decreased, which is why they stopped.

When do you start racing?

The gentlemen are asked the question from what age you have to start to be successful in motorsport. Verstappen has an unprecedented teenage period in which he made his debut at the age of 17. Verstappen thinks he wouldn't have succeeded if he hadn't started racing until he was 12 years old.

"I think that if you start racing at the age of 12 you can reach the top but it will be difficult. If you start racing at the age of five you'll learn a lot of important qualities that are necessary to be successful in racing," the Dutchman concludes.
