Formula 1 plans to restart on 5 July in Austria. It will be a relatively quiet Grand Prix, as the race will definitely be held without an audience.

Liberty Media, the FIA and the teams are working hard to do everything possible to get the F1 season started on July 5. For example, the teams with a smaller team will be present in the garages. It will be completely quiet in the stands, as the organisation has announced that there will definitely be no fans present at the race.

The fans who had bought a ticket were informed about this by e-mail. "In these extraordinary times we need extraordinary measures. These will affect one of the biggest events in Austria. It is with great regret that we have to inform you that due to the current situation the weekend of 3 to 5 July at the Red Bull Ring cannot take place as usual. The race will be held without an audience", the organization informs the fans.

Reimbursement ticket holders

It won't come as a big surprise to most ticket holders. When the plans were announced to organize the race on July 5, it was already made clear that there is a very good chance that there will be no public present.

For the fans it is only the question when they will get their money back for the ticket, if the organization says they are busy with that. "We are currently working on refunding the tickets and converting them into a ticket for the Austrian GP 2021, with some options and offers on top of that. As soon as the possibilities are finalised, the ticket holders will be contacted".
